Frinton is a traditional seaside course with firm turf, pot bunkers and proper links feel when the wind blows. The front nine runs inland through trees; the back nine opens up with sea views and classic links turf.
The greens are lightning fast in summer. The clubhouse is Victorian and the food is excellent — try the crab sandwiches.
