Colchester GC is a James Braid parkland gem just 10 minutes from Britain’s oldest town. Mature trees, lakes and ditches come into play on nearly every hole, but the fairways are wide enough to forgive the occasional slice. The greens are always fast and true.
The signature stretch is 9–12 with water in play on every hole. The clubhouse is modern with great food and a big terrace overlooking the 18th green. Very popular with societies.
